Product Description
CiTiceLs are built to function in a variety of environments and challenging circumstances. Therefore, it is crucial to prevent exposure to solvent vapours at high concentrations during storage, instrument assembly, and operation.
Degreasing agents should be used before the sensor is installed when employing sensors with printed circuit boards (PCBs). Avoid applying glue directly to or close to the cookie since the solvent may cause the plastic to crack.
Planned Usage
These sensors are made to be used in anesthesia (except xenon), critical care, neonatal incubators, and general oxygen monitors to measure the partial pressure of oxygen.
Time for Stabilization
Before calibrating the instrument, give it at least 15 minutes to stabilize, or follow the instructions.
Cleanliness and sterilisation
The sensor can be cleaned with distilled water and let air dry if it is soiled. The sensor shouldnt be sanitised with steam or subjected to chemicals like ethylene oxide or hydrogen peroxide.
Establishing Period
These sensors are made to have minimal drift over the length of their useful lifetime. For the best accuracy, they should be calibrated before each use.
Should the Sensor Be Lost
If a sensor is dropped, it should be quarantined for 24 hours before doing a 2-point calibration as a follow-up check.
Equipment Installation
The sensor must only be hand-tightened when being installed, and a gas tight seal must be made. The sensor thread may be damaged by using too much force, so spanners and other similar mechanical aids are not permitted.
RFI/EMI Susceptibility
Medical devices may be vulnerable to EMI or RFI due to the metal content. They are not appropriate for usage in MRI settings. Please contact City Technology for more details.
The Cross-Sensitivity
The response of MOX1 medical devices to the gas combinations mentioned in ISO 80601-2-55 is shown in the table below.
